We test on real people, not animals. All ingredients are 100% vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.
I’m pregnant and/or breastfeeding…can I use your products?
Your skin’s health is our top priority at KraveBeauty, so we formulate our products to be as safe and as non-irritating as possible for everyone, including expecting and new mothers. All of our products, except Kale-Lalu-yAHA, are 100% safe for those who are pregnant and breastfeeding.
Kale-Lalu-yAHA’s effects during pregnancy and breastfeeding are considered low to no risk. However, we call out Kale-Lalu-yAHA because it is a chemical exfoliator containing 5.25% glycolic acid, a type of Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHA). Chemical exfoliators such as Beta-Hydroxy Acids (BHA) in high concentrations (as is used in a professional peel) are considered to pose a risk during pregnancy and breastfeeding as they get absorbed into your skin. However, lower concentrations of these acids or AHAs (like glycolic acid!) are often considered low to no risk, and thus provide gentler and safer ways you can keep glowing ;)
That being said, we always recommend our customers to consult with their healthcare provider to get the most comprehensive safety information about any skincare product(s) they wish to use.
Are KraveBeauty products suitable for sensitive skin?
Our products are developed by and for people with sensitive skin, so you won’t find any irritants or potential allergens in our formulations. However, as everyone’s skin is different and sensitivity is caused by various factors, your skin may react differently to a product than your friend’s might.
How long is the shelf life? Can the products change color?
All of our products can be used for 12 months after opening. When remained sealed, they maintain a 24-month lifespan. However, for oil-based or SPF products like our Great Barrier Relief and Beet The Sun SPF 50+ PA++++, we recommend that you use them regularly once opened as exposure can compromise the products’ efficacy over time. Please note that prolonged exposure to high temperatures, humidity, and exposure to sunlight or air may adversely impact any formulation.
All KraveBeauty products are free of artificial coloring, so the color of the products may vary by batch or even change over time. Rest assured, this does not affect the integrity of the product and remains completely safe for your skin.
Will there be more products in the range?
Our goal will never be to have the widest collection. We simply want to create products that have personality, purpose, and are blended with ingredients that your skin really deserves and craves. Only when we’ve met these criteria and found a true need will we be releasing more products.
That is not to say we aren’t keeping busy. We are currently developing a moisturizer and a sunscreen!
Are KraveBeauty skincare products “all natural”?
KraveBeauty products are free of fragrance and essential oils.
Natural skincare is not necessarily better for the skin. In fact, some natural ingredients used as fragrance-enhancers, like lavender or grapefruit oil, are potential sensitizers and allergens, especially for those with sensitive skin. Instead, we use naturally-derived ingredients that are safe and high in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, then combine them with lab-based technology for skin-respecting products.
Where are your products made?
All KraveBeauty products are made in Korea. This allows us to access the highest grade of ingredients and to leverage the most sophisticated formulating technology in the industry.
Why can't I find Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser on the global website?
Our Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser is not currently available for purchase in Malaysia and Singapore, due to the Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil it contains. Though we can assure you that it does not contain any THC or psychoactive properties (or else we would not have been able to manufacture it in our Korean labs!), Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil has not been officially approved for cosmetic use in Malaysia or Singapore. We're so sorry we couldn't introduce you to our beloved Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, but we hope you understand! Do I need a toner?
If it makes you and your skin feel good, then 100% yes. If you’re using it just because you’ve been told to do so, question it once again. Is it really helping your skin?
But you say you’ve heard some good things about pH balancing or clarifying toners?
We often think our skin needs to be squeaky clean and bacteria free, when in fact, this behavior often leads to the disruption of the skin’s natural, protective barrier. Be sure to take a good look at the formulation and ingredients, and make sure it’s not just stripping away your skin’s barrier that naturally protects and keeps your skin moisturized.
Can I skip cleansing in the morning?
Yes! Your skin isn’t as “dirty” as you think. Limiting your cleansing is one of the easiest ways to restore your skin’s natural barrier function. If it feels like your skin built up some excess sebum since last night, give it a light (and quick!) wash with a hydrating cleanser.
When is the best time to test out products?
We recommend introducing new products slowly to avoid shocking your skin. This also makes it easier to pinpoint which product is not working for your skin. It’s best to slowly introduce them one at a time, so you can clearly test how your skin reacts to each individual product.
Take extra care experimenting with new products especially when your skin is vulnerable and reactive!
Is it normal to break out after using Kale-Lalu-yAHA?
This depends on the person. Some people go through a “purging” stage after incorporating AHA into their routine, whereas some don’t.
AHA accelerates the skin’s cellular turnover rate, which can produce an effect where underdeveloped pimples are pulled to the surface more quickly. If you are patient and see the process through, there is light at the end of the tunnel!
How long will my order take to arrive?
You order, we process, and then we ship!
Orders placed before 10AM KST usually ship out on the same day (except during weekend and holiday), but please allow us about 1 business day to process your order. Once it ships, a confirmation email containing your parcel’s tracking code will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. You can expect your order to arrive within the times provided below. RETURN AND CANCELLATION
Can I update my order?
We process orders as quickly as possible, which means that there’s little time to make adjustments. If you wish to cancel or make any similarly urgent request, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 1 hour of placing your order or at least before 10AM KST.
We can assist you most quickly if the relevant request and order number are included in the subject line. If you wish to update your shipping address, we kindly ask that you include the new address in your email.
Please note that as we cannot make any changes once your order is shipped, we cannot guarantee these requests will always be accommodated.
What’s your return policy?
All Global KraveBeauty sales are final. Therefore, we do not accept any returns.
I received the wrong product/my product came damaged!
We take full responsibility if you’ve received an incomplete order, or damaged/defective products, and sincerely apologize if you’ve been affected by either of these issues!
Email us at email@example.com and we will make this right for you. So that we can assist you as quickly as possible, please include photos of the total received items or the damaged/defective product(s) along with your order number! Please note that all order and product issues must be reported within 7 days of its delivery date.
Why is my order canceled without any notification?
As we have not currently partnered with any authorized resellers or distributors, KraveBeauty prohibits any resale activity. In the case that identical customer information is found to be associated with numerous customers, the relevant orders may be cancelled without notification.
If your order was canceled in this fashion, it was likely considered to be for resale purposes. If this was not the case, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
